Six steps for remote assistance
Explain why access is needed
The engineer explains why access is necessary and what they need to inspect or change.
Confirm assets and authorization
Confirm that the person granting access is authorized to manage the website, server or device.
Choose the access method
Prefer temporary accounts, limited permissions or a session initiated by the customer.
Confirm significant actions
Explain deletion, restarts, exports, recording and high-impact changes separately.
Work together
Stay within scope. The customer may ask to pause, and additional scope requires renewed confirmation.
Close and revoke access
Record the result, remove temporary permissions and identify credentials that need rotation.
We do not request these through remote assistance
- Card security codes, payment verification messages or accounts unrelated to the issue.
- Unnecessary full databases, private files or access to other unauthorized devices.
- Hidden access that has no defined end time.
This page explains the service; it does not grant authorization
Reading this page does not authorize access. Each session requires confirmation of specific assets, actions and time limits. Data and third-party platform requirements must also be met separately.
